Capers Sentul Day Out 24 Apr 2015

IMG_1449 Today is the last day of Annabelle medical leave. She is getting better and better compared to the first day she was sick and down with Influenza B.

I had to take emergency leave since Monday when Dr. Liew confirmed that, she has been infected with the virus of Influenza B.

There is on going job site at the Capers Sentul, a residential unit, which the renovation need to be completed by 30th April 2015, as the new tenant is going move in on 30th April 2015.

IMG_1422 I noticed that Annabelle is getting better, then i just decided to go to the Capers Sentul and bring her down together as well.

I was thinking of after checking the progress of the renovation works at site, I can bring her around to check on the play ground, swimming pool, water features and the roof garden.

We were so excited at the stainless steel swing and the steel wire mesh sofas at the roof top garden.

We love it so much! It must be the designer pieces!

IMG_1429We feel so happy to see the interesting and these amazing design pieces!

I saw the steel wire mesh settee before at the Kuala Lumpur Performing Art Centre near the Sentul Park.

The very first time I saw it, I was thinking like : Hmmm…Who is the designer whom design all these master pieces, so brilliant of him or her!

And, even though some people might say, it is silly to do that, but the chair is so comfortable when you sit on it.

IMG_1451All the sharp edges were sanded and rounded! It is really a fine workmanship! Now, I saw it here at Capers Sentul! Well, it is under the same development company – YTL Land.

The swimming pool looks really impressive which is tiled up with combination of colourful shades of blue and turquoise, pale yellow and cool greys. You really can’t differentiate the pool area.

At a corner there is a water features which we can walk on the steps which is one inch below the water level. And, it looks like we are walking on the water effect!

IMG_1433 Children playground is located at another end of the corner. The colourful and vibrant playground make the children want to come here and play.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Subang Jaya Branch Relief Society Activity ~ Homemade Salsa

I love Relief Society sisters in the church. I learned a lot of new things from the Relief Society activities. One of them is the food storage. Food storage is quite a new thing to me.

IMG_1150

Earlier this year, our dear Relief Society Sister Marilyn Krouskop, whom come from United States that have the knowledge about food storage, shared her talents with the sisters in Malaysia like us.

We had a dry packing activity earlier in January. Everyone brought grains, pasta, sugar, legumes, oats, spice, salt etc. to start build their 3 months food storage. All the sisters were happy and were enjoying each other companies. And, I was so excited and happy to learn this new experiences too!

And this month, we have been taught about how to do Food Canning. She taught us how to do Salsa and Strawberry Jelly in her house. Unfortunately, I could not make it, but I had followed the recipe given by her last few night, I made 12 pints of Salsa ❤️. Below is the recipe from Sister Krouskop:

I was really tired while I canned the Salsa, I have to stand and to peel and chopped the tomatoes, bell peppers and chilies and took me 1 and the half hour! But I really felt satisfied indeed after I have done it! I can’t wait to share these photos of my Salsa!
