Today some of the Relief Society sisters Christmas Buffett Lunch Gathering organized by the church sisters that invite whoever sisters would like to go together as the Christmas Buffet Gathering.
Sister Oyoki, Sister Yong Yong, and Sister Saffron were trying their best to source the best value steamboat and BBQ restaurant. Finally, Sister Yong Yong managed to find one Korean restaurant – Gogigo Korean BBQ & Steamboat Buffet located at Bandar Puteri Puchong.
We met around 11.00 am as the restaurant just opened at that time. After we paid for our portion, we just walked in, settled down our handbags or kinds of stuff, and began to walk towards the buffet counters, which served a lot of food and beverages.
The restaurant serves BBQ and hotpot together. In addition to the hot and spicy Korean BBQ, there is also a hot pot with two soups in one pot! It is simply very worthwhile and valuable for money. It is all you can eat except for canned drinks and alcohol that need to pay separately.
The restaurant serves unlimited pork, chicken meat, and pork belly with many all kinds of vegetables, marinated meat, seafood, meatballs, instant noodles, and more. There are authentic Korean side dishes, such as kimchi, spicy fried rice cakes, sushi, fried rice, egg rolls, and more. And unlimited ice cream and drinks too!
All the sisters were busy eating, and all of us are enjoying each other companionship. All the sisters were chit-chatting and got to know each other latest living.
Annabelle had brought the Young Women My150 project bookmarks out and gave them to all the sisters who were there to spread the love of young women to the Relief Society sisters. She took a lot of photos with the sisters.
One more exciting thing that happened is that we have the Christmas presents exchanges among the sisters. Everyone brings along Christmas presents which cost below RM15.00 and interact with each other. Finally, we took a group photo before we leave to memorize this enjoyable gathering.

There have been quite sometimes that our family did not have a proper tradition Christmas Eve dinner for the past few years. Most of the time, our family would be traveling during the Christmas season at the end of the year.
Since the Covid-19 pandemic just swept through the whole earth, most citizens worldwide are restricted from traveling abroad. Alvin has not cooked a turkey for a while. The last one should be at the Puchong branch Christmas party at church in 2019.
This year we celebrate the eve with Brother Felix and Sister Joyce's family at their house. We brought over to their home and had our Christmas eve dinner. Alvin baked the roasted turkey. I cooked a mushroom soup and fresh green salad.
Alvin prepared the turkey starting from noon. We baked for almost 2 hours and made sure it is juicy. Then he prepared for the gravy of the turkey as well. It looks so lovely and yummy!
It has been a while since our families had dinner together. We had an enjoyable dinner. Sister Joyce prepared mashed potatoes, garlic bread, and baked grille ribs.
After the dinner, we watched our branch virtual Christmas eve presentation online. It was pretty fun to see ourselves in the video presentation this evening. We have our chit-chatting all evening till we left for home.
Our family has an enjoyable and wonderful Christmas eve with Brother Felix and Sister Joyce’s family.

Today is Alvin’s birthday. Also, a little bit of an unhappy incident happened at the Sungai Lembing homestay that we have to shorten our weekend trip at Kuantan.
We drove back home at noon, reached home to our bath and a quick nap to rest. In the evening, we came out again to USJ21 Main Place Mall.
We walked into Komugi. Alvin selected a cheesecake as his birthday cake, and we just had our small candles blowing celebration at Komugi cafe.
As the birthday present for this year, I bought a hand-painted face mask for him, as the face mask would become quite essential things that we need since the outbreak of Covid-19.
We wished him a happy birthday and loved this man of our life very much!
Today is my birthday and it is a Friday night. We just went to Main Place Mall at USJ 21 after all of us came back from work. We had our dinner at Nando’s Chicken.
Alvin bought a Gula Melaka cake from Komugi Bakery. It is a lovely and tasty cake too! It is a simple but delightful birthday celebration with the love ones!
There is one more surprise from sister Jennifer. She made a video purposely for my birthday. It is very sweet of her that she took so much effort in doing it!
Alvin and I are so impressed and touched with Annabelle’s initiative to cook our breakfast this morning. She told us it is the Valentine’s meal for both Alvin and me.
It is a very simple breakfast but it made us very happy. Annabelle purposely cook for us – eggs, hot dogs, bread toast.
There is a a photo with Alvin of coarse – 2 of us. All of us are happy with the meals that the children prepared.
It is such a rare occasion that all the cousins can gather at the same place and the same time. Thus they decided have the photo session.
