Mecaje Primary Popsicle Making

The senior primary students were taught to make their own fruit flavour Popsicle.

They are using watermelons and oranges, and some others fruits. They are using blenders to blend the fruit juices.

They scoped the fruit juices into the popsicle moulds, then just freeze it in the freezer.

Every student is trying to do for their own. It is a fun activities for the Primary students!

Mecaje 2019 Year End Concert

This year the theme of the Mecaje Year End Concert is Everyone is Gifted. And that is how the musical, drama and dancing came on stage.

This year Issac does not have much roles in the drama, a very small role only. Instead he has joined in the band and played with the keyboard. He has been practiced all the while in the school for this show.

It is quite different for us as parents see him play other musical other than the church hymns song. We are very proud of him too.

Issac joined the rest of the Mecaje students in group singing as well.

Whereby this year Annabelle have a portion of the solo singing as well within the group. She also be the narator of the drama.

She is involves in the dancing as well. Well, she is very happy with her own participation in the concert itself.

There is one thing need to mention here is Annabelle is 12 years old this year, meaning she is graduating from her Primary and next year she will be joining to Secondary. Thus, there was a small graduation ceremony for all the 12 years old Primary students in Mecaje.

Surprisingly Annabelle is the best student in academic in the Primary. She is so happy to get the award! We are surprise as well!

Finally, all the Mecaje students sung ‘A Million Dreams’ and ended the night. It is an enjoyable evening for the students, parents and the teachers. They have prepared for months just for tonight 2 hours presentation or concert. Bravo to the students and teachers!

Sister Theresa Birthday Celebration

Today is Sister Theresa’s birthday, her family Sister Sophia, Brother Sanjay and his wife Sister Kushila organised a small surprise party or gathering for her.

Sister Sophia have planned everything and few of the Church members together with the sisters missionary came and celebrate with their family. It was a happy occassion for all of us.

Joyce Birthday Party

Joyce’s family celebrate her 12 years old birthday by organized a surprise party for her. Annabelle and Issac had been invited to go to Kai Kai Xin shop for the party.

I drove both children there and joined in the fun as well. The party started at 7.00pm. There were so many food served: fried chicken, fried rice, fried bee hoon, curry chicken, fried mixed vegetables, and mala hotpot as well.

We stayed there till 9.00pm then we left for home. Both Issac and Annabelle were enjoying their friend’s birthday party.

Canaan Land Group CNY Celebration

Last night was the Canaan Land group Chinese New Year celebration at Tropicana Avenue. The members of the Shop.Com group get together last night and we had a pot luck style of dinner.

There are games for the children and the Chinese calligraphy writing for the adults too. Each of us wrote something so that everyone would have a good business of their own with the start of the New Year.

Mecaje Primary Pulau Ketam One Day Trip

With a few Primary teachers together with Mr. Heng the principal of the school, today is the Primary Students Pulau Ketam one day trip.

The students took the KTM at Subang Jaya and continued to the last station, Pelabuhan Klang.

It took quite some time for the Primary students and teachers to get there, but their laughter rarely ceased along the journey so it was definitely a lot of fun.

Some even bring cards game along with them,that the Primary Students were sitting on the floor of the coaches and played.

Upon reaching the Pelabuhan Klang station, they just walked a short distance to the jetty.

While the teachers bought the ferry tickets and they waited at the jetty, they took photo with the giant golden crab at the jetty.

It is the signature landmark at the jetty before you travel to Pulau Ketam. The Primary were queing at the jetty for their turn to board to the ferry.

The ferry is a closed air conditioned. The students were so happy with the companionship of each other in the ferry.

When they arrived, they did some sightseeing, and cycling around on the bycles for those whom rented the bicyles.

There were electric bicyles too, but of coarse cost a little more. It was really nice to see the different culture as there is no motorcycles or cars at all on the island.

Everyone simply cycles or walks. They took some photos. And there were quite a lot of photo spots if one would want to explore the whole island.

They would stopped a while just to grab some ice creams or snacks during their exploration on the island.

After some exploration, they had lunch at one of the Chinese restaurant on the island. Then after some time, they headed back to the school.

Go back through the same route, ferry back to Pelabuhan Klang then took the KTM back to Subang Jaya station.

So, that is pretty much for their one day trip. And yes, they were having fun because of all the friends and teachers together!
