Annabelle’s Birthday @ Home Celebration 30 Sep 2013

IMG_2729

Mummy bought a small birthday cake for our own home celebration, especially for Daddy to celebrate with Annabelle.

Daddy said that, he unable to come back USJ home to celebrate with her, due to work.

So, after work, I just go straight to the bakery and cake shop bought a small cake.

I knew that it is very important for Annabelle, to celebrate her birthday together with her Daddy.

I do not want her to feel that she is missing her Daddy on her most special day, and she doesn’t deserve to been through this…

IMG_2734 Her Daddy came back around 10.00pm something. I just took out the cake, and all together of us, sang her the birthday song and she blew the candles.

I can see from her face, she really enjoyed that moments, and sang together with us the “Happy Birthday” song.

She really feeling happy on this, even though it is a small cake as long as four of us being together…

Jane Yap Atelier @ Citta Mall

IMG_2686 Both Annabelle and Issac art teacher name is Jane Yap Jian Yi. She is same age as me. Since I was young in schooling time, I had seen her name and her works in the newspapers already. I never think of one day can able to meet her personally, and now she is my children’s art teacher.

Well, I feel so grateful that that time, Auntie Jasmine told me about her art class at Citta Mall, I stopped both children art class at Benjamin there, then brought them over here to learn art from Teacher Jane. I really, can I say ‘adore’, Jane Yap. She was one of the reason why I learned art since I was young.

IMG_2685 Knowing that she had an art atelier nearby is such a wonderful news, I do not expect one day I would able to meet my ‘idol’ here in Kuala Lumpur. And, further more she became my children’s art teacher.

Initially we joined the class of Saturday 2.30pm, but it seems like there are a lot of students, thus the teacher suggested us to take a earlier class which is starts at 1.00pm. I am ok with it as it is the best time for us as normally the 2.30pm class ended at 4.00pm is a bit late and tire for the children.

Previously was Issac’s art being displayed on the window of the shop, this time was Annabelle’s turn. She was drawing butterflies, and she loves butterflies so much!

Hardworking Boy

Seeing him doing the Kumon Mathematic homework, my heart was aching and touched too. I know he is a very kind and good boy. He is trying his best to do the subject which he is not good and doesn’t like at all.

I can see how much efforts he is putting into this subject as I see him learning. I know he doing this because of me. I know he is an obedient boy and very dear to me.

I do not hope anything for myself but the best for my children. I hope they would understand that one day.

Hearty Breakfast @ O'Brien's Irish Sandwich Damansara Heights 19 Sep 2013

IMG_2591 After reaching the office settled some paper works, I was out again to Damansara Heights for the Way Restaurant project site. I was so hungry and decided to have my breakfast or brunch at this hour 11.00am, and had my coffee for the day.

The American breakfast is so nicely done up and really delighted me, at least… I had my little own time to think about what I have now and what I what…

Lately, I was a bit puzzled about our relationship… We are trying to work out on coming back together again, for the sake of our both children Issac and Annabelle.

Sometimes, I am thinking like: How that can be happened? Is he really sincere and true about what he wants? Is this what he wants? Or he is still cheating on both sides? Tones of questions are wondering in my mind… Do I need to take the risks of getting hurt again, and again?

IMG_2592 I know the best thing to do now is handling well and concentrate to the project in hand, and focus more in the new house which the ex-owner had been moved out since last August. That would make me more productive, instead of thinking what would happen between me and him. I have to rely on myself instead of him, in building back whatever were falling in piece and pieces. If really cannot be fixed, just throw away and re-do a new one. I was so attached to him, may be I love him so, so much, and more than what I can imagine. It is so frightened…

Have to help myself and walk out on my own. Just focus whatever that God have install for me and just do what I feel is right, most importantly for both children and myself.

Pulau Ketam 15 Sep 2013

IMG_2564We came back to Pulau Ketam again. Usually we would park our car at the Subang Jaya KTM Station and took the KTM from Subang to Port Klang, a journey of nearly an hour each way.

This time, we were bringing Kinki go together with us, thus we have to drive the car to the Jetty Point and parked our car at the parking area. We walked to the Jetty Point, the ferry leaves every 45 minutes to one hour, from 7:00am to around 7:00pm.

We took the speed boat, and it is a bit expensive than the normal ferry. But, the experience and feelings of the wind blowing to your face during the boat on their way to the Pulau Ketam.

IMG_2565 This time around, we stayed at Pulau Ketam Inn. The room is quite cramp but it is ok as long as they have air-conditioning.

We did not purposely make reservations up front as there is almost always something available. Just worst case scenario, is that we take the last boat back to Port Klang only.

Main reason why tourists visit Pulau Ketam is of course to enjoy a fantastic meal at one of the many great seafood restaurants.

IMG_2568 Usually one will find a big bucket full with live crabs in front of every restaurant during lunch time. If you are staying over for the night, make sure you head over to the restaurants in time as all the fresh seafood is often already finished later in the evening.

The islands' specialty is crab. There are a few restaurant on the island, thus we tried different restaurant during our breakfast, lunch and dinner time. The breakfast would be just ok only, but as the lunch and dinner, we were satisfying for the value for money meals. Of coarse, Pulau Ketam had become a tourists destination, thus it would be in tourists’ price too.

IMG_2573 The island is characterized by the houses built on stilts; it is a so-called water village. They are built in such a way that it almost looks like the houses float.

Pulau Ketam only consists of two small villages on stilts and not much more. The biggest part of the island is only accessible by boat because of the swampland and mangroves. Main activities are walking around in the village, or biking through the village on a rental bicycle.

We did the walking and had great fun. The village is not that big, but it still takes over an hour to explore the whole area.

IMG_2575 During the trip we took a few stops to enjoy the scenery, views or a snack that is sold at every corner of the village. We pass by the one and only bank in the island – Maybank. Kids were asking Daddy to buy for them the wind wheel to play.

We did visit the fishermen cold storage areas where they take off or parking their boats, and the place they cold store their fish after come back from sea. At that point of time, there weren’t anybody at the dock, we just sat at the area and see the views of the villages.

IMG_2579 During our walking trip we drove past a wooden fishing boat factory; the owner builds these wooden boats (almost solely) by hand. There also are two Chinese temples; Nang Thiam Keng Temple and Hock Leng Keng Temple and many small altars scattered throughout the village. Most other activities involve eating at the many seafood restaurants, where regular dishes are also being served.

Overall a good trip for both children, as they able to spend some valuable time with Daddy. I noted that he keep on looking at his hand phone…Well, just a short trip for both children…

Our Alien Character Family

Tonight Issac got the ideas from Onom character. He drew our family in alien characters. This is so creative! He is creating something new!

IMG_2537

Annabelle helping her brother to post the characters. They are so excited!

IMG_2540

Issac drew daddy Alvin in blue colour, holding working bag and book; Issac in his favourite yellow colour, holding bottle and lollipop; Annabelle in maroon colour holding rattle and lollipop; whereby me is in pink colour, holding a bottle of spray cleaning bottle and cleaning cloth.

IMG_2541

Issac added one more character – Kinkin, the green dog!

IMG_2544

Finally, Issac added the Onom in the drawing. He is happy with his creation! I was crying as I watching them draw and so happy, I can feel their happiness. But at the same time I feel afraid too… afraid of losing all these happiness again…

Sri Ayutthaya Authentically Thai Restaurant @ USJ11 7 Sep 2013

IMG_2498 It was a dinner gathering among the Chong Families, before our cousins Tong Keat’s wedding.

Aunty Mei Lin initiated the dinner. She leave the dinner venue to Aunty Jasmine to determine. Finally, Aunty Jasmine had chosen Sri Ayutthaya Authentically Thai Restaurant which is at the USJ11.

Daddy unable to attend the dinner as he is attending his boss’s son wedding dinner at Majestic Kuala Lumpur. He is going to help his boss in entertaining his corporate clients and consultants.

IMG_2442 And at the same time, his boss will be busy entertaining his families members and his some royal guests, because his son’s newly weds wife if from Negeri Pahang royal family, grand daughter something like that. Thus, Daddy will be busy with his events.

Mummy just dressed up both Issac and Annabelle and we go to the restaurant.

As we walked in, I was rather to surprise to see that the interior decoration was just simply awesome and it was certainly top notch!

IMG_2446 I think the furniture itself must be imported from Thailand, because can see the fine details on the designs, displayed until the cutlery set as well.

Especially, once you entered from the main entrance, it is designed in such a way that the whole dining area is sitting and floating on a koi pond which is surrounded the whole restaurant! It do amazed me!

IMG_2481Never think of this concept would appeared in a shop houses as what it is located now.

We were sitting on separately 2 tables – the Seniors and the Juniors table. Aunty Jasmine ordered the dinner. It was really a great time for us – aunties, uncles, cousins and siblings chit-chatting gathering session.

The food also nice too…

IMG_2472 We had tried some of the signature dishes as Crispy Chicken Thai Style (The chicken fillet were deep fried and as such very crispy, then together with their homemade chilli dipping sauce), Steam Fish Thai Style (The fish steamed with the Assam sauce with Thai Style), Butter Prawn (Fried Prawn with butter with the fried beaten egg, Kerabu Mango which is so spicy, Fried Sotong Thai Basil, Fried Asparagus etc but of coarse not forgetting Tom Yam Gong. All come with steamed rice. Our dessert was Chendol.

After both Issac and Annabelle had their dinner, they were just walking around and explore the restaurant. They were having fun in exploring too!

Overall is a fun dinner together for us! Enjoy it very much!
