Joining Nerf Gun Club ^^

Sometimes I wondered why Krouskop family always love the Nerf Gun so much… I can see some of their family activities posts at the Facebook, is it really that fun?

It was the Christmas holiday yesterday, our family were doing our window shopping in this festive season, and we walked into the Toys R Us. The series of new Nerf Gun caught our eyes, as they came in different designs and patterns, even the usage of the gun itself!

I have no idea at all that, the play gun for kids have already evolve into like this! There is even for girls’ design, more pinky and purple look, more feminine, compared to the more muscle like play guns for boys!

Daddy was so excited and asked each of us to choose one for our own, so that we can play together sometimes in the house.

By now, only our family know why Krouskop family are so crazy about Nerf!!!Marilyn Marin Krouskop . We are joining you too!!!

A New Family Tradition ~ Christmas!

This year we have started a new family tradition – celebrate Christmas in our home, as part of the journey as our family are being Christians now. It is a total change for us, for good we believe!

All the presents we received from the Church Christmas Party or from individuals we received, we put it just underneath the Christmas tree!

This year...we don't have a Christmas tree...We have a ⛄️snow man with red hat!!! Merry Christmas everyone!!!

We went to Ah Lee Ah Q’s house after our church’s Christmas party for the Christmas family gathering too. Here are all the Chong clan in the house!

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Puchong Branch 2015 Christmas Party

This year we celebrated the Church Christmas party with our new home branch Puchong church members.

Well, it is so special that the Puchong Branch Presidency decided to let the Elders quorum to prepare the pot luck party with all the Priesthood Holders to bring a dish to the party and share with the church members.

We were asked to invite our family and friends to join our branch Christmas Party as part of our missionary works. Our branch presidency never forget about the missionary works for members.

I have helped to put up the invitation e-card like this one, and WhatsApp to all the members to forward to their friends invite them to join the party.

This year all the programmes are organised by the youth group – Young Men, Young Women and Young Single Adults.

There was an opening hymn follow by the opening prayer. Then there was the Nativity which performed by the youth. I was pretty amazed with the creativity by our youth!

That was followed by testimony sharing by the Primary children. Issac was one of them! We are so proud of him!

The decoration of the church was done by the Relief Society sisters, and the handmade props for the photo booth for us to snap photos.

Finally, the most important part – Santa Clause is coming to town! Our branch Brother Roger became our Santa Clause for the gift exchanging and sharing moments ^^.

Every each of us were asked to prepare a small gift of around RM10.00, then we will exchange. Our family did not have exchange the gifts, as we spared it to the visitors whom came to the party. We have quite a huge turn out from the visitors.

Our family have a warmth and home coming Christmas Party evening. Even it is just a small party, but we were surrounded by kind, humble and hard working ever Saints in following Christ!

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Puchong Branch Farewell Lunch for Missionaries

Our Puchong Branch organised a farewell lunch for the missionaries whom would go back to their country after rendered their faithful services to the Lord. They are Elder and Sister Hadley, Elder Warner and Elder Wright.

All the members have put up a nicely farewell lunch. There are chicken curry, spaghetti, fried vegetables, some desserts, fruits, etc..

Our family feel blessed and grateful for the service and the love shown by Elder and Sister Hadley to our family, that they have witnessed our family sealing ordinances in the temple. We are grateful to have the opportunity to meet with this couple missionary and both Elder Wright and Elder Warner too.

These are all the things that I want Issac to learn during his days of schooling, as we as the parents emphasised on the languages and all other knowledge that he need inquired for his future and self-reliance.

Overall we are happy for his results that better than earlier this year results shown.

Dinner @ Absolute Thai Main Place USJ21 5 Dec 2015

We seldom walk into a Thai restaurant as it is quite difficult for us to order the food as both Issac and Annabelle do not like hot and spicy food. They are not fond of it at all.

This Absolute Thai restaurant was opened since the neighborhood mall – Main Place opened. Every time we just walked pass in front of the entrance.

From its deco façade was welcomed by fresh colorful plants moving on to a row of hanging magazines on the black wire mesh panel.

The main dining hall combines wood panels and wire mesh giving customers a comfortable feeling where black and white pictures are framed against the wall.

From the interior deco, it looks much attractive from the outside, and finally we walked in to the restaurant and give it a try.

We were trying out and ordered a combination of few as Annabelle wanted to have the Thai beef noodle soup.

We ordered separately for stir-fried Hong Kong kailan with salted fish, pineapple fried rice with prawns, sizzling beef with black pepper sauce served on hot plate and last but not least the green curry chicken and white rice for Daddy and Mummy.

While Issac preferred pineapple fried rice with prawns. We ordered iced lemongrass juice and the mango juice and warm waters for drinks.

The green curry isn't actually very spicy and I quite enjoy the chunks of tender, boneless chicken meat, cooked in sweet and creamy coconut milk.

I love the hidden bits of brinjal and long beans in the dish. It is even tastier when you eat the gravy with rice.

This pineapple fried rice with prawns is fried to perfection. The sweetness comes from the pineapple and raisin bits.

To top it off, there is also cashew nuts, onion and gigantic prawn to go with the dish! For people who can't take spicy food, this dish is perfect for you!

The sizzling beef with black pepper sauce too cooked just nicely as I enjoyed the tender of the beef, together with the colorful vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower and carrots too. The taste is nice and I love it!

The stir-fried Hong Kong kailan with salted fish too, just nice for us to eat together with the white rice.

Well, overall it is a good dinner that we have together since we came back from Cebu, Philippines trip. We love being together as a family.
