Subang Ria Recreation Park 8 Aug 2010

P8080071Today is a Sunday, after our breakfast in the morning, we went to the nearby recreational park at Subang Jaya.

Subang Ria Park is known as the oldest recreational park in Subang Jaya.

It is located nearby Sime Darby Medical Centre and is spread out across 72.6 acres of lush greenery with a massive lake and breathtaking views of Subang Jaya.

P8080079Some activities that can be enjoyed in this park include jogging, cycling, as well as unwinding and picnicking by the lake.

There is also an open-air theatre which hosts cultural shows, small-scaled events and even talks on the local community and environmental issues.

Subang Ria Park also houses the country’s largest paintball park, namely TT Sports Park. Those who want to experience some excitement in this recreational park can opt to head there for a round of adrenaline-inducing fun.

P8080082We just stayed around the smaller lake and both children were playing the sand drawings using the tree sticks or twigs which ever we found on the ground.

Daddy was taking some photographs of the views from the lake.

It is an enjoyable morning at the park!

Kids Bento ~ Mini Sandwiches

After I woke up in the morning, I went to the kitchen and prepare all these mini sandwiches for both Issac and Annabelle.

Just use the cookie cutters I bought the other day to do it. Smile

A Saturday at Home

P8070035        P8070040

This is a typical Saturday if Daddy is not in the house. I would look at them while they are sleeping in the night. Sometimes, I would found out or discover that both of them having the same sleeping styles. Or sometimes both brother and sister have the same features at certain angles.

At the morning, after having the breakfast then I will let them do some colouring or drawings or even watching cartons or children program on the Astro. Both would take an afternoon nap together. And, that is the time I have to write on blog and organise some photos. And do some household chores which I only have the chance to do on Saturday.

P8070049        P8070052

Normally dinner time, I would take away from the nearby Malay restaurant or Chinese restaurant. Then, 3 of us would share for 1 big portion. After which, the children would play toys at the same time watching TV, or they would scribble and sketch on the drawing papers.

When it comes to bedtime, we would play a while on the bed. Both of them would have so many funny and cheeky faces to show me and we laugh our heart out.

P8080057        P8080056

I do not know both Issac and Annabelle would remember the days and nights in this small little house that we have, I hope they would remember still the moments we spent together.

Kids Bento ~ Bear Burger with Rice & French Beans

P7310019I saw this bear bento on the internet the other day, so I am thinking of want to try out using the hamburger meat patties, to surprise the kids!

I use the omelette to make the bear mouth and the seaweed for both the eyes  and nose.

Serving the bento on lettuce leaves adds another veggie to the meal. I stir-fried the French Beans, carrots with some fish ball and crab sticks as well.

I use small cookie cutter for the shape of the sakura flower shape for the slices of carrots. And of coarse with white rice.

Kids Bento ~ Mice Egg Tofu & Broccoli

P7240004It is a simple bento that serving on lettuce leaves adds another veggie to the meal.

I stir fried green beans, carrots and broccoli, and pan-fried Japanese Tofu.

And I boiled the hard boiled egg for a mice shape with 2 little slices of crab sticks on the top of the egg.

I made the heart shaped for the rice with some seaweed sheets on top. It is a “funny Bento”.

I still need a lot of practice to make a nice one! Open-mouthed smile
