Today we went to Batu Caves. We went there before I think but we did not take much photos too.
Batu Caves is a an iconic and popular tourist attraction in Selangor. It is the site of a Hindu temple and shrine, Batu Caves attracts thousands of worshippers and tourists, especially during the annual Hindu festival, Thaipusam.
A limestone outcrop located just north of Kuala Lumpur, Batu Caves has three main caves featuring temples and Hindu shrines.
Its main attraction is the large statue of the Hindu God at the entrance, besides a steep 272 climb up its steps to finally view the stunning skyline of the city centre.
Monkeys frolic around the caves and they are just do not afraid and brave of wanting some peanuts from the visitors. It is a popular spot for rock climbing enthusiasts. Paintings and scenes of Hindu Gods can also be seen in the Ramayana Cave.
We managed to went up till the main cave, and both Issac and Annabelle were really amazed me that they managed to climb up as well. We walked around in the caves and see the temples.
It was wet in the caves itself, as the natural springs flows in through some of the tiny crack lines of the stones.
We took our family photo after we came down from the steep steps of Batu Caves. I kind of like our family photo, and I know my hair really not that nice. All of us were happy and smile at that moment.
It was a fun outing together with the children and their Daddy, even I know that there might be major changes in our relationship which both of us cannot work it out. Any how, for the children’s sake I think it is the best that both of us being good friend…
