Annabelle’s Baptism Day

Annabelle got baptized today at Church, which is 4th October, 4 days after her birthday. It was such a great day to share with family and friends.

We did a few things to prepare for the big day. I did design of the invitation card to the friends and family to invite them to her baptism at the Church. She was pretty happy about the whole deal.

Prior to her baptism, she have been interviewed by our Subang Jaya branch President Chi last Sunday in Church. President Chi just told me that she is ready for it.

I actually was so nervous that Annabelle might not pass the interview, as she was always restless all the time during the Sacrament Meeting. It turned up great!

When the big day come, our family were ready. The baptism ordinance began at 2.30pm.

We were most delighted to see Aunty Jessie, together with Uncle Yeap and her mother came and witnessed Annabelle’s baptism.

Annabelle was ready to go with her Dad, Alvin performed the baptism ordinance in the baptism font.

We were happy when both Brother Richard and Brother Jackie gave their approval on the ordinance.

Annabelle was practicing the baptism in the swimming pool in out home so many time with Alvin. She was glowing with excitement.

After her baptism she was given the gift of the Holy Ghost with all the good Priesthood Brethren, where Elder Dacayanan performed the ordinance.

There were some refreshment after the baptism at the Church, which prepared by the Relief Society sisters. We were so grateful for that!

Eventually, after we were back to our home, we only realise that we were so attached to that moment that we totally forgot about taking photos for her and with her! Oh my!
