Chinese New Year Reunion Dinner 30 Jan 2014

Well, here is our Chinese New Year Reunion Dinner for this year!

My mother-in-law is an amazing woman, she can do a lot of wonders, from cooking, teaching the children, and everything comes to her, she can handle it well.

She used to be a hawker selling kolo mee, noodles soup, and ‘kam puah’ dry noodle (it is the dry noodle only can have it in Sarawak, it is a signature food or dish for Fu Chou clan), etc..

There is one signature of her always appears in the dining table during this season of joy is the braised duck.

She really do it so good tastes, that every year one of Sister Agatha’s friend would order from her.

In her old age, she still can able to cook so much dish. This time around, my sister-in-law did help a lot in preparing and cooking. Normally my task is cleaning the dishes after each meal, because I am not a good cook.

After the dinner, the children joined with their cousins playing the fire crackers from evening till the midnight!

KLIA2 29 Jan 2014

This year, we are going back to Kuching as a family again.

I know that my mother-in-law is old age now. This is the least I can do for her and the children. I want the relationship and the bonding between both children with their cousins, uncles, and aunty are still there.

So here we are in KLIA2 airport for the flight going back to Kuching for Chinese New Year. The kids are so excited because they can meet with their dearest cousins again.

The new low cost terminal looks fabulous and there are more shopping retail outlets here compare with the main terminal at KLIA.

The kids are having fun here and looking for their own entertainment. It is decorated with Chinese New Year theme as well.

On the Go…

Both children’s daddy brought them to Aeon. These are the funny faces and patterns that both kids did in the shopping mall!

Aquaria KLCC Revisited 11 Jan 2014

I was in a Prudential Agency Annual Planning at Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus at Bandar Sunway today, thanks to Daddy able to take care of two little darlings for the day. I was at the Lakeside Campus early at 8:30am for the event. Daddy came stayed overnight at our USJ home the night before, then both the kids followed Daddy back to Jalan Ipoh house after I went off.

Eventually, they have quite a fun day at Aquaria KLCC. It is not the 1st time the children been there, but still having fun there. Really thanks for Daddy for the kind thoughts and considerations, they enjoyed the day out with Daddy.

Annabelle 3rd Day Primary1 6 Jan 2014

Today is the third day Annabelle went to school. I did not fetch her to school, just let the transporter fetched her from Mahkota Tuition Centre, and drove her to school.

I did promise her that I will come during the recess time to check on her, how is she doing. I prepared for her a packet of Ribena drink for her.

Today she was having toasted egg bread in the canteen.

She was so happy when she saw me. I was happy too ^^.

Our Dinner @ Nando’s Chicken USJ Taipan 4 Jan 2014

It has been long long time that I had not eat Nando’s Chicken, it is because Nando’s peri-peri sauce.

It is not everyone can accept the taste of the peri-peri sauce. Nando’s chicken are marinated in their famous peri-peri sauce for 24 hours to give you the great peri-peri taste.

Another thing about the chicken is flame-grilled to order and never fried, in front of you.

It have its great peri-ohmmeter to choose from (lemon & herb peri-peri, mild peri-peri, hot peri-peri and extra hot peri-peri )

I choose for Issac and Annabelle from their Nandinos Meal chicken which is grilled in the special kiddies basting sauce without the fiery kick, as I know both of them cannot take spicy and hot taste.

Chicken Breast Burger set for Issac which comes with a Soft Drink, Fruits and Potatoes Wedges;

Whereby as for Annabelle is Chicken Wings sets which comes with a Soft Drink too, vegetables and Mediterranean Rice.

On top of that, I ordered a soup with garlic bread. And their signature 1/4 Peri-Peri chicken with 2 regular sides which is Grilled Vegetable and Spicy Rice too.

Both children were enjoyed the meals too, especially the interior decorations and the concepts of the seating.

I guess the last time I had was during 2012 at Putrajaya.

Well… Finally, I had my Nando’s Chicken after cravings for so long…

Annabelle 2nd Day Primary1 3 Jan 2014

Today is the second day Annabelle went to school. I just left her near the gate, on duty teachers were encouraged all the parents let the newbie walked by themselves to the assembly hall. I just saw her strolling her pink colour Barbie school bag towards the hall.

I promised Annabelle that I will come in the recess time to check on her, how is she doing. She is having fried noodles today, as yesterday she was having fried kuey teow.

Happy for her ^^.

Annabelle 1st Day Primary1 2 Jan 2014

Today is Annabelle first day in school. I am glad that her Daddy came and witnessed this important day of hers. Daddy fetched her to school, as I need to take half day leave in the afternoon for this day.

We just accompanied her to Chee Wen the big hall. She was with others new students queuing up in front of the auditorium hall and waited for their turns for assembly.

After the assembly, they will be guided to their own classes. Daddy even took a photo of her new form teacher 2E, Miss. Lim. Just in case, she forgot how is her form teacher looks like XXD.

At the mean while, all the parents were directed to the Auditorium to attend a briefing which is organised by the Parents Teachers Association of the school to update and given the latest information on the school, ministry of education related matters.

Daddy and I were going back after Annabelle went to her class, and we came back again during her recess time, to check on the canteen catering food and to make sure she knows where and how to get her snacks during recess time.

I know that she is most happy because can see Daddy here with her on her first day of school. I hope she will enjoy her school days, just like I did during I was her age.
