Batu Caves Kuala Lumpur 10 Nov 2013

IMG_9736 Today we went to Batu Caves. We went there before I think but we did not take much photos too.

Batu Caves is a an iconic and popular tourist attraction in Selangor. It is the site of a Hindu temple and shrine, Batu Caves attracts thousands of worshippers and tourists, especially during the annual Hindu festival, Thaipusam.

IMG_9738 A limestone outcrop located just north of Kuala Lumpur, Batu Caves has three main caves featuring temples and Hindu shrines.

Its main attraction is the large statue of the Hindu God at the entrance, besides a steep 272 climb up its steps to finally view the stunning skyline of the city centre.

Monkeys frolic around the caves and they are just do not afraid and brave of wanting some peanuts from the visitors. It is a popular spot for rock climbing enthusiasts. Paintings and scenes of Hindu Gods can also be seen in the Ramayana Cave.

IMG_9752We managed to went up till the main cave, and both Issac and Annabelle were really amazed me that they managed to climb up as well. We walked around in the caves and see the temples.

It was wet in the caves itself, as the natural springs flows in through some of the tiny crack lines of the stones.

IMG_9734 We took our family photo after we came down from the steep steps of Batu Caves. I kind of like our family photo, and I know my hair really not that nice. All of us were happy and smile at that moment.

It was a fun outing together with the children and their Daddy, even I know that there might be major changes in our relationship which both of us cannot work it out. Any how, for the children’s sake I think it is the best that both of us being good friend…

A Drowsy Day @ Tai Lei Loi Kei USJ Taipan 15 Oct 2013

IMG_2910 Tai Lei Loi Kei Pork Chop Bun has built their name among locals and tourists from different places, it is one of the must have food when you travel to Macau. From what we heard this bun is selling like hotcakes everyday in Macau, the queue is super long and their buns are usually sold-out within 2-3 hours.

The interior of this outlet is a fine cross between fast food and casual dining outlet. Just like any fast food outlet, it is self-service where we have to place our order at the counter in front. Then we will then have to wait for our number before collecting our orders at the next counter. Daddy helped to order the food for us.

IMG_2909 Due to it is our first time here, thus we ordered Signature Pork Chop Bun, Polo Pork Chop Bun and Bouncing Noodles with Chicken Wings. The Noodles is of dry style, tossed with dark sauce, the portion is quite small but it is just ok with me. The Signature Pork chop bun features thick crust sandwiching the pork chop.

The pork chop is superb, no extra sauce or dressing is needed. Having them original is the best. The meat carries bone in it, which is said to be the best part. Though deep fried, it is not greasy at all. Meat is lean but tender and full-flavoured, the secret marinating that has passed down for two generations.

IMG_2915 We did order Macau Curry Fish Ball as the curry is thick, creamy and mild spicy. The food is excellent, just I think today is not my day…

I just don’t feel comfortable, as Daddy all the way from we outing also he looked not really patience towards me. He had did his tattoo on his left arm. It was quite a shock to us too, but of coarse both children did not feel anything, they just think that it is cool that their Daddy have a special tattoo on his arm, and make him so special.

I felt like the trying of getting back together would not be successful, because I just can feel that he still have his girl friends with him, beside this family. I just pray that, I still can be strong if 2nd time cannot work out, and I have to move on…
